What we always preach to everyone is to always do planning, especially customs planning. Things must be planned well in advance at the table. In a shipment, each type of goods, country of origin or country of destination, can sometimes present some critical issues that, if not addressed in time, could lead the operation towards dangerous waters and give rise to problems that, at best, would translate into a lot of costs or unexpected delays.
